You are Me, I am You and we are One
Shamanic Wisdom
I’m fortunate to have both recognised and walked with a few great giants during my mortality and because of that; my spiritual blessings have been simply immense.
Walking with and Learning From Giants
There once was a very friendly; gentle and loved filled giant who felt it was his obligation to help the little people who lived around and on his lands. He built flood defences, cleared the land so they could grow their crops and feed their animals and shared his food with them willingly during their times of difficulty and famine.
All was love, all was generosity and indeed all we mutuality of intent, that was until the hate filled dissenter began his rumblings about the giants general validity. “Why do we need to put up with the giant? so what if he built the flood defences, cleared the land and shares his food with us”.
Where Hate Lives, Only Greed and Violence Thrives
“What about the noise he makes when he laughs?, what about the holes he creates when he walks?, what about the thunder he makes when he snores?”. “I tell you we’d all be much better off without the giant and it’s high time we set about ridding ourselves of this monster”.
So the towns folk pondered at length about how they would rid themselves of their unwanted neighbour whilst a little boy cried out “are you all insane? our giant is the best thing that’s ever happened to our community, can’t you see that?”.
“Hush lad and a way with you now, this is a grown ups discussion shouted the hate filled dissenter”. At which point the dissenter demanded that they simply poison the friendly giant and share out his lands equally. Albeit that he’d like the land which consisted of all the giants orchards and fish ponds, which in essence, was all the giants material wealth. The little boy so hurt by this outcome and in floods of tears ran from the proceedings and sort out the giant saying; “giant, giant the towns folk aim to poison you and steal all your land”.
Where Love Lives, Selflessness and Beauty Always Thrives
To which the gentle giant stood silent and then wiped a tear from his eye and said; “thank you my son I knew this day would always arrive”. “You see; greed, ignorance and fear are the three most destructive forces within every living mortal and that’s not something that I have any control over for only love can conquer such nonsense”. There was a moment of earth shattering silence and then;
The gentle giant spoke in an almost angelic whisper; “thank you for your love and generosity of soul little man, but please don’t worry about me, for its clear that my time is over”. At which point the little boy cried out in anguish; “but giant aren’t you going to fight and protect yourself from this horrible fate?, I will help you and we could beat them at their own game and very easily”.
At which point the giant smiled and ever so gently replied; “O dear bless you my little prince, no I’m not going to fight don’t you see that; wherever there are mortals prepared to stand up and fight for what is right like you my little prince”. “Hope and the fate of mortal well-being, remains in very safe hands, such is the purity of unconditional love”.
The heartbroken giant then quickly packed up his belongings and in wiping a tear from his eye reached out to the little boy and said; “Welcome to your birth right little prince, you’re a giant amongst your own people, therein may your; valour and love shine like a beacon of hope even in the most impoverished of souls”.
Another moment of silence followed before the giant said; “My little prince the journey that you’ve now embarked upon will be fraught with ups and down, but fear not, I will pray that your rewards always reflect the purity of your intent my little prince”.
Following that up swiftly by saying; “For you are love and as such a very precious soul, indeed a brave heart my little prince”. “Therein your peers will take from you and never seek to return your generosity, for unlike you, they are lost and hence locked in; greed, ignorance and fear, such is the way of 3D mortality”.
Where Giants Live, We Are Blessed to Walk in Their Footsteps
Then with a roof lifting chortle the giant said; “Hey, hey cheer up my little prince, for there are many like you and like you they will never fail you or leave you wanting”. “Indeed you’re going to experience blessings beyond your current understandings my little prince, so relax, breath in and breath out and trust in the power of your own force”.
At which point the little boy forced a smile as he held back his tears and said; “but giant does this mean I’m never going to see you again?” to which the giant replied; “my little prince don’t you understand? you are me, I am you and we are one!”
The little boy then blew his nose, wiped away his tears, smiled and said to his friend the big gentle giant; “thank you and take care my brother, for now I truly understand, but let’s meet up again and very soon, albeit let’s make sure that we meet under better circumstances”.
The giant looked back over his shoulder, smiled and said; “My little prince you have yourself a deal and whats more; I’m already counting down the days until we meet again my little prince, for your going to be such a very wise and ever so goodly king”. Amen
